Heidi Holliday has spent the last twenty years of her life immersed in nonprofits. She's a three-time Executive Director, and has also worked as a community organizer and program director. She launched The Idea Loom because she's passionate about helping nonprofits better achieve their mission. Through The Idea Loom, she provides succession planning, strategic planning, and facilitation services, designs effective community engagement processes, and consults on advocacy and public policy initiatives.

  • Who should enroll in this course?

    While this course is designed for Executive Directors and CEO's of nonprofit organizations, employees at all levels will find applicable information and be able to create their own succession plan.

  • When will the course begin?

    We are planning to begin in April 2023. We expect the course to take six weeks, so you should have your plan complete by June!

  • But I don't have enough time...

    That's why we break it down for you! By the end of the course, you will have the tools you need to draft your own basic succession plan, as well as a to-do list for the future.

  • What does pre-sale mean?

    We would like to have enough participants to have a cohort completing this course together. If we don't meet minimum enrollment, we will contact you about options.
